Atalanta Coach Gian Piero Gasperini has been given a two-game ban after being sent to the stands in the defeat to Lazio.

The tactician was dismissed in the 79th-minute of the 1-0 defeat, having reacted furiously to the officiating of Luca Pairetto.

Today’s disciplinary report from the Lega Serie A notes that Gasperini “protested blatantly and repeatedly against a refereeing decision” while directing “seriously insulting expressions toward the fourth official”.

Gasperini was also found to have “while leaving the field of play, uttered more gravely offensive remarks against the referee”.

As this is a repeated infringement, the Orobici Coach has been given a two-match touchline ban. Pescara’s Massimo Oddo has been given a one-match ban for insulting the officials in his side’s defeat to Napoli.

Alessio Romagnoli of Milan and Cagliari’s Marco Capuano have had their one-match suspensions confirmed after red cards in the Week 20 fixtures.

Also suspended for one match having picked up one too many yellow cards are Andrea Belotti of Torino, Fiorentina striker Nikola Kalinic, Assane Diousse of Empoli, Juventus pair Alex Sandro and Stefano Sturaro, Milan midfielder Manuel Locatelli, Lazio’s Senad Lulic, Raffaele Palladino of Crotone, Roma defender Juan Jesus and Chievo’s Nicolas Spolli and Ivan Radovanovic.
