Lazio coach Igor Tudor is keeping his tactical cards close to his chest with Daichi Kamada seemingly in a new role against Roma. ‘I hope the derby will be without controversy.’

It kicks off at the Stadio Olimpico at 17.00 UK time (16.00 GMT).

You can follow all the build-up and action as it happens from today’s three Serie A games on the LIVEBLOG.

There have only been two matches under new coach Tudor since Maurizio Sarri resigned, both were against Juventus in different tournaments, winning 1-0 in Serie A and losing 2-0 in the Coppa Italia semi-final first leg on Tuesday.

“We worked on everything we had time to work on, the concepts we discussed before, a bit on mentality, as that will be important too today,” Tudor told DAZN.

“It is a fascinating game to play, I hope it will be a good match of football without controversy.”

Kamada is expected to be used in a more advanced trequartista role behind the striker, as Mattia Zaccagni is injured, with Luis Alberto surprisingly benched.

However, when pressed on whether the Japan international can bring more quality in that position, Tudor was defensive.

“We’ll see where they play. You can see Kamada is playing, he has quality, we’ll see where he plays.”

Ciro Immobile has been chosen as the centre-forward in place of Taty Castellanos, but again the coach resisted that narrative.

“It’s not someone in place of someone else. Ciro starts, there will be five changes and everyone will be important today.”
