Inter confirmed the signing of Raoul Bellanova from Cagliari today, whilst neighbours Monza secured the arrival of Matteo Pessina from Atalanta.

The 22-year-old Italian right back joined the Nerazzurri on a €3m loan deal with a €7m buy option attached, being an exciting addition to Simone Inzaghi’s squad. He could ultimately end up displacing Denzel Dumfries should his development go well.

Bologna sent Andri Fannar Baldursson to Dutch side NEC Nijmegen on a loan deal with a buy option attached. The deal also counters a buy-back clause, should his loan move be made permanent.

Lazio finally managed to sell outcast defender Denis Vavro to FC Copenhagen, confirming his departure on a definitive transfer. They also lost Pepe Reina, whose contract was officially terminated today.

Bologna picked up prospect Matteo Angeli from Imolese.

Atalanta signed talented midfielder Éderson from Salernitana in a deal worth €13m plus defender Matteo Lovato, who went the other way.

Finally, Atalanta also confirmed the sale of Matteo Pessina to the newly promoted Monza, who left Bergamo on a loan deal with a conditional obligation to buy clause attached.
