Football Italia transfer expert Matteo Moretto says there is ‘nothing concrete’ between Manchester United and Torino full-back Raoul Bellanova who may stay with the Granata beyond the summer.

Moretto provided the latest updates on Bellanova’s transfer situation on Caught Offside, saying there is ‘nothing concrete’ between Manchester United and the Italian full-back.

Reports in Italy claimed in February that the Red Devils had sent scouts to watch the ex-Inter and Cagliari defender in action. However, Moretto said that talks between the Premier League giants and Torino have not even started.

There is also a second issue for United given that Torino President Urbano Cairo is unwilling to sell many players next summer.

Torino star defender Alessandro Buongiorno has already attracted interest from many clubs, especially Milan, so if the Granata captain leaves in the summer, it’s unlikely that Torino will also part company with Bellanova.

The 23-year-old has one goal and five assists in 27 Serie A appearances this season. He joined Torino for just €7m from Cagliari last summer.
