The Giallorossi currently lie fourth in the table albeit with a game in hand after last Sunday's match against Bologna was suspended due to heavy snow.

Reflecting on Roma's 1-1 draw at home to Brescia in midweek while attending a poker event in Venice, Totti said: "Things are going really well.

"We played with the trident yesterday and now some people are saying that it didn't work. But they are saying that because we didn't win. If we had got the three points there would have been a different opinion.

"At times the Coach makes these decisions and they need to be respected. It's normal that everyone wants to play."

Looking ahead to this weekend's trip to Inter, Totti said: "Let me relax. Let me spend a beautiful day in a great city like Venice where I'd willingly come back. I'll think about Inter on Saturday.

"For us the game against Inter is a very important one, which we absolutely mustn't underestimate because we are nine points from Milan and have a game to recover.

"If we want to stay on Milan's tail, we have to get a result. Anyway, the season is long. There is still time," he concluded.
