According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Roma legend Francesco Totti has recently met Tiago Pinto to discuss Cristian Volpato’s contract extension.

The 18-year-old made his Serie A debut under José Mourinho this term, scoring his first goal against Hellas Verona less than two weeks ago.

Volpato is one of the clients of CT10 Management, a company founded by Roma legend Francesco Totti. The ex Azzurri star has reportedly met Tiago Pinto to discuss the starlet’s contract extension over the last few days.

Volpato’s contract in the capital expires in June 2024, but the two parties are close to reaching an agreement over a new deal. According to the report, Totti’s business partner Giovanni De Montis will finalise the contract with the Giallorossi.

Totti is on good terms with Roma owners and José Mourinho. He has often been invited to the Stadio Olimpico to watch the Giallorossi games this season and there are growing reports that he could return to the club as one of the directors.

  1. Italy should do everything they can to get Cristian Volpato to play for us, otherwise he will chose Australia. This kid is an excellent player along with Edoardo Bove. The important thing is to play these lads.
