According to The Athletic, Tottenham are set for ‘fresh talks’ with Antonio Conte this week over a new long-term contract.

The Italian tactician signed an 18-month deal in North London in November 2021, so his contract with Spurs expires in June.

According to the report, talks between the North Londoners and the Italian tactician will resume this week.

Negotiations won’t only involve the length of a new deal and a potential pay rise for the coach, but also Tottenham’s ambitions for the future.

Club’s ambition was the breaking point when Conte left Juventus and Inter in the past, so Tottenham directors know they must match the coach’s expectations also in terms of transfers.

Conte has been linked with a return to Juventus and a picture at a restaurant in Turin on Sunday night sparked even more transfer speculations regarding the Italian tactician who played for Juventus in the ’90s and coached the Old Lady between 2011 and 2014, winning three straight Serie A titles.

Tottenham reportedly opened contract talks in October with confidence that the Italian tactician would extend his stay at the club.

2 thought on “Tottenham schedule imminent meeting over Conte’s extension amid Juventus links”
  1. Conte is genius and he knows Tittenham Coldspuds are desperate. He is also aware that the 7/9 are in chaos and will only give him their Wendy’s early bird special. The Don wants champagne, caviar and lobster. Better to wait for PSG or Newcastle.

  2. Why would Conte want to manage a Serie C team. Lets not forget FI that we need to report news, such as financial fraud, stock exchange fraud, sporting fraud etc.
