Tottenham have started keeping an eye on Juventus centre back Gleison Bremer as they look for options to strengthen their backline, The Telegraph reports.

The 26-year-old Brazilian centre back joined the Bianconeri last summer from intercity rivals Torino in a deal worth around €41m, beating Inter to the talented defender. He penned a five-year contract with the club, worth around €5m net per season.

Bremer showed some positive signs in his first season with Juventus, but struggled to stand out as the team suffered a difficult campaign on and off the pitch.

As reported by The Telegraph, Tottenham believe Bremer could be a good fit for Ange Postecoglu’s squad in North London and have identified him as one of their top options to strengthen the defence.

Other Premier League clubs, like Chelsea and Manchester City, are both also reportedly interested in the Brazilian centre back.

In his debut season in Turin, Bremer scored four goals and provided one assist in 30 Serie A appearances for Juventus.
