Talks between Adriano Galliani and Fernando Torres’ agents have ended, with the Chelsea man’s representatives commenting they went well.

On from reports that the major barrier to the 30-year-old moving to Milan was his wage demands, the Rossoneri’s Vice-President personally met with the player’s agents today.

It was understood that they were working on reducing the current €2.6m gap between what they are offering and what Torres is asking.

Reports are that those negotiations today have now closed and that the striker’s agents are described as ‘confident’ of progress.

One of them, Antonio Sanz, later spoke to Milannews.it on the matter.

“The meeting went well,” he explained. “Torres to Milan is a real possibility.

“We will take some time to reflect before giving an answer. I cannot add anything more. Milan are a great club.”
