Toronto FC are “grateful to Juventus” for allowing Sebastian Giovinco to terminate his contract six months early.
The striker had already signed on to join the Canadian MLS club from July, but today ended his Juventus contract early by mutual consent.
“Having Sebastian join us in time for training camp is incredibly important for our team and our plans this year,” said Toronto FC general manager Tim Bezbatchenko.
