Lazio are ready to sign Gonzalo Bergessio from Sampdoria, said his agent, possibly sending Ederson the other way.
The Blucerchiati had resisted the move for several weeks, but on deadline day are increasingly open to it, especially if Ederson (pictured) arrives as part of the deal.
“We are just missing the signature on the contract,” Bergessio’s agent Julio Tymczyszyn told reporters.
“Will he go to Lazio? Yes.”

Sky Sport Italia claim Ederson will go to Sampdoria on loan, while Bergessio comes to Lazio on loan with an option to buy.
It’s also reported Bergessio underwent his medical in Genoa this morning.
