Torino are reportedly closing in on a deal for Atalanta forward Aleksey Miranchuk following a new round of talks.

The Granata are working hard to try and pick up some more signings this summer following the leaked argument between coach Ivan Juric and sporting director Davide Vagnati. The Croatian coach is still expecting some more reinforcements and Torino have seemingly responded accordingly.

As reported by TMW, Torino held more talks with Atalanta recently to try and speed up their work to sign Miranchuk. The two parties are looking to finalise a loan deal with a €12m buy option attached, and the Bergamo side are looking to bring in RB Leipzig’s Ademola Lookman to replace the Russian.

Last season, the 26-year-old forward scored two goals and provided four assists for La Dea, having a difficult campaign following the Russian invasion of Ukraine in the second half of the campaign. He is close friends with Ukrainian teammate Ruslan Malinovskyi and he famously didn’t celebrate after scoring in a 4-0 win over Sampdoria.
