Charles De Ketelaere is set to complete his move to Milan early next week after an agreement was finally reached with Club Brugge yesterday.

The Rossoneri have been desperate to secure the 21-year-old Belgian talent’s signature for some time now and had long been in talks with Club Brugge, competing with Leeds United for the exciting playmaker. De Ketelaere has always been excited about the prospect of joining Milan and his dream is almost a reality now.

As highlighted by Calciomercato.com, De Ketelaere is expected to arrive in Milan tomorrow, either in the late afternoon or evening. He’ll undergo the usual pre-transfer medicals with the Rossoneri on Monday before putting pen to paper on a five-year deal worth around €2.2m net per season.

Should everything go to plan, De Ketelaere would be able to join the squad in Milanello on Tuesday, when the squad will return to work after their friendly against Olympique Marseille. It would then be Stefano Pioli’s decision as to whether to deploy him in the friendly against Vicenza on August 6 or not.

  1. With this whole fuss about Ketealerae, we forgot about some of the other players the club brought in. I am genuinely interested and it is very important for next season, how good is Origi really!? He has been at the Big Club for years and has played at the highest level, but never got the chance to show his full potential. We won’t have too much from Ibra next season and Giroud will need help. With new players in midfield, the striker should have enough chances to show what he knows.

  2. There as no soap opera – there was noise journalists and fans crashed while Maldini held negotiations. Some people think buying players in real life is like fifa game lol!
