Torino were deeply disappointing against Cremonese and it’s now suggested they’ve put Simone Verdi, Lyanco, Daniele Baselli and Tomas Rincon on the market.

Adapting to new coach Ivan Juric has proved very difficult, especially with barely any changes to the personnel.

They scraped through to the Coppa Italia Second Round thanks to a penalty shoot-out, failing to defeat 10-man Cremonese last night.

That was a wake-up call, Juric demanded reinforcements and there have to be sales before that can happen.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the players who Toro are now trying to sell in the final days of the transfer window include midfielders Verdi, Baselli and Rincon.

As for Lyanco, he has been frozen out all summer, but negotiations for a transfer to Real Betis are still up in the air.

  1. Torino is the epitome of Italian top flight football the list of names in this article that are put on sale don’t even belong in top flight football throughout Europe it’s humiliating with Italian football has become

  2. This guy @Peter Pietraroia. You always hit on Italian Football, how humiliating the top flight has become but still you never go on EPL or Spanish football to read their news. You always on here, why are you wasting your time on something you claimed is humiliating?. With all the money and pretty football played in Germany, Germany, Spain, France, etc. Guess who is the reigning European CHAMPION, it’s still the AZURRI lol. The top teams in England were owned by money bags, remove those owners and the EPL won’t be on top as they are now, and if clubs in Italy don’t have such privilege that doesn’t make them bad. If anybody told you a club like Barca would run into debt would you ever believe ? . I f you dont like Italian football then stop watching or reading about it.

  3. Funnily enough, I was seeing Watford fans raving about Kucka’s debut the other day. Relegated with rock-bottom Parma with three wins all season, of course. The point being, Serie A is loaded with quality, and don’t let anyone suggest otherwise. It also produces the most entertainment year on year.

It’s embarrassing the way people get into this self-flagellation act… I’m not Italian, nor do I have a particularly long history of watching Italian football, but it’s my favourite league because it’s a brilliant and entertaining product, with such a rich history. The PL is the lowest common denominator league, and it really isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Trust me, I watched it for years. A club bankrolled by the UAE dominates English football… it’s a big joke. And an overly inflated financial bubble which will burst at some point.
