Spanish reports: PSG swoop for Ronaldo if Mbappe’ quits

by | Aug 16, 2021 18:27

There are reports in Spain that Kylian Mbappé is pushing for a transfer to Real Madrid, which would prompt PSG to target Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus and create the super pairing with Lionel Messi.

El Chiringuito TV are teasing a huge announcement on Ronaldo’s future in tonight’s episode of the programme on Spanish television.

According to sources including Josep Pedrerol, Cadena SER and El Transistor, that news will be that Mbappé will tell Paris Saint-Germain today that he still wants to leave for a move to Real Madrid.

The arrival of Messi was not enough to convince the France international that his future should be in Paris and he is not prepared to sign a new contract.

Considering he’ll be a free agent in June 2022, the only option then is to sell Mbappé to Real Madrid for a huge fee.

PSG can then go back to Plan A, which was the situation before Messi was released by Barcelona, namely swooping for Cristiano Ronaldo.

His contract with Juventus is in the final season too and it’s widely believed the Bianconeri will gladly sell CR7 for €30m.

This could allow Paris Saint-Germain to form the dream duo of Messi and Ronaldo playing together.

Well, at least that’s one good thing PSG can make happen. Would be fun to see those two on the same team for a while. I don’t know if it will work for them or PSG though.

  2. SnJ

They can always buy mbappe again in the future. This would be an unsurpassable statement signing ahead of Qatar 2022.

  3. Sammy

Having d greatest fb players in a team, isn’t d only criteria for winning d Chm league trophy without an intelligent coach.
PSG, take a proper LOOK before you LEAP. CR7 & Messi are expired Stocks in modern fb. Be wise guys.

  4. James

They’ll be competing for awards in the same team 😀

  5. Abdulrahman

Having Messi and Ronaldo in one team is CHEAT….
