Torino have reportedly offered €3m for versatile Vitoria Guimaraes and Mali international defender Falaye Sacko.

According to Foot Mercato in France, the approach has been made for the right-back, who can also play in a three-man defence, which would suit coach Ivan Juric’s tactical set-up.

He spent the last six months on loan at Saint-Etienne, but won’t make the move permanent because they were relegated to Ligue 2.

Sacko only just turned 27 last month and has 24 senior caps for Mali, while his contract with Vitoria Guimaraes is due to expire in June 2024.

The defender is well-travelled, also featuring for Ujpest FC in Hungary and VV Sint-Truiden in Belgium.

Sacko started the campaign at Vitoria Guimaraes, moving to Saint-Etienne on loan in the January transfer window.

Torino’s pursuit of the versatile defender does imply Gleison Bremer will be sold, as he has interest from Inter, Milan, Juventus, Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
