Tiago Pinto met a group of Roma fans, asking them who they want to sign and confirming Matias Viña will join the club.

The Uruguay international is set to move to Roma on a permanent €13.5m deal, bonuses included.

He will replace Leonardo Spinazzola, who will remain out of action for six months.

According to Calciomercato.com, Roma general manager Tiago Pinto met a group of Roma fans outside Trigoria, confirming that the 23-year-old is on his way to the Capital.

“He is coming,” the Roma director said, according to the report.

Roma are also in talks with Arsenal to sign Granit Xhaka and when Tiago Pinto was asked for updates, he replied: “We’ll see, we can only sign one player at a time.”

When Tiago Pinto asked who the fans wanted to sign, most of them replied: “Mauro Icardi” and demanded the return of Francesco Totti. At that point, the Portuguese director left without saying a word.
