Juventus will be without Claudio Marchisio for the first two Serie A fixtures, the club has confirmed.

The midfielder missed today’s training session with a thigh injury, and will be sidelined for 20 days, meaning he will miss the Week 2 trip to Roma.

“Claudio Marchisio will be sidelined for approximately 20 days after medical examinations revealed a first-grade proximal myotendinous junction tear in his right rectus femoris muscle,” the Bianconeri confirmed in a statement.
