Morten Frendrup, Teun Koopmeiners and Victor Osimhen are among the Serie A players linked with a summer move to Liverpool.

Juventus midfielder Arthur Melo was the last footballer moving to Anfield from Serie A last season, but the Reds failed to make his move permanent in June 2023 as the Brazilian had been struggling with injuries during his loan spell, making just one appearance with the senior squad under Jorgen Klopp.

Italian media have linked several other Serie A players with a transfer to Anfield over the summer and Frendrup, Koopmeiners and Osimhen are among them.

Frendrup, 22, is a central midfielder from Denmark who has collected five assists in 22 appearances with Genoa this season. His contract at Marassi expires in June 2026 and Juventus are also said to be interested in him, as reported by Tuttosport.

The Bianconeri and Liverpool may fight for another central midfielder as well: Koopmeiners from Atalanta. La Gazzetta dello Sport reported on Friday that the Dutch midfielder is Massimiliano Allegri’s priority for next season although the Reds and Newcastle are also keen. Atalanta’s reported asking price is €40m.

Koopmeiners has scored seven goals in 26 appearances across all competitions this season.

Last but not least, Napoli star striker Osimhen has been linked with nearly every top club in England and this past October, it was reported that the Nigeria international had reached a principle of agreement with the Reds.

Transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano denied Osimhen had shaken hands with the Reds, but said the Premier League giants were monitoring several strikers, including the Nigerian ace.

In the meantime, Osimhen has signed a contract extension until June 2026 at Napoli and his new deal reportedly includes a release clause in the region of €120-130m.
