La Gazzetta dello Sport reports Atalanta star Teun Koopmeiners will be Juventus‘ transfer priority next summer, but Liverpool and Newcastle United are also interested.

Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli is a long-time admirer of the Dutch midfielder having already tried to bring him to Napoli in the past.

Scorer of seven goals in 26 appearances across all competitions this season, Juventus had made an attempt to sign Koopmeiners this month, but with Atalanta unwilling to sell, the Serie A giants will step up again in a few months.

According to Gazzetta, Koopmeiners is Juventus’ transfer priority for June, as both Massimiliano Allegri and Giuntoli rate the Netherlands international highly.

The report from Friday’s printed edition of the pink paper, on page 14, claims Newcastle and Liverpool are also interested in the versatile 25-year-old, who has a contract until June 2027 at the Gewiss Stadium.

Gazzetta says Atalanta’s asking price for their midfield star is in the region of €40m.
