Following last night’s defeat to Sassuolo, Mancini declared that the club need to “understand what direction we’re going in”, interpreted in some quarters as a hint that he could leave.
However, the club’s patron appears to be backing the Coach for next season.
“Every Inter player should be proud to wear this shirt,” Thohir told the Inter fan club in his native Indonesia.
“The goal for the upcoming season is definitely to be better. We have to trust the Coach and encourage him to continue to do his best.”
