Inter President Erick Thohir is reportedly holding emergency meetings to decide on Walter Mazzarri’s fate.

The patron had warned this week he wanted to see “points – plural” in the next three games against Verona, Milan and Roma.

Inter President Erick Thohir is reportedly holding emergency meetings to decide on Walter Mazzarri’s fate.

The patron had warned this week he wanted to see “points – plural” in the next three games against Verona, Milan and Roma.

However, he seemed thoroughly unimpressed in the stands during Sunday’s 2-2 draw with Verona.

According to Sky Sport Italia and other sources, Thohir has postponed his return to Indonesia in order to hold emergency meetings with the club directors.

It is even reported there’s a meeting planned with ex-Honorary President Massimo Moratti.

Moratti resigned from his role last month, allegedly in part because he wanted Mazzarri fired and Thohir refused.

There is a two-week break for international duty, so if Thohir is going to change his Coach, this would be the ideal timeslot.

Mazzarri is deeply unpopular with many of the Inter fans and there were banners around San Siro urging him to leave.
