Erick Thohir has labelled the upcoming week ‘important’, but says he doesn’t know if it includes a meeting with Juventus.

The Inter owner and President flew into Italy this weekend to catch the goalless draw at home to Catania ahead of a series of meetings relating to the Nerazzurri.

Leaving his hotel in Milan this morning, the Indonesian was cornered by SportMediaset and asked what was in store and if Juve counterpart Andrea Agnelli, or director general Beppe Marotta – the latter believed in town too – was on the agenda.

“It will be an important week, but I do not know if I will see Juventus,” responded Thohir briefly.

It has been speculated that the President would look to meet with Marotta at some stage this week to explain the situation relating to Fredy Guarin and Mirko Vucinic’s proposed swap deal breaking down last week.
