Thiago Silva is set to miss Milan’s derby with Inter this weekend as he reportedly struggles to return to full training.

The Brazilian centre-back has been out of action since late-March after suffering a thigh strain in the pre-match warm-up against Roma, which was then seemingly aggravated by his Coach’s decision to then start him.

After the midweek game with Atalanta” data-scaytid=”3″>Atalanta, Massimiliano Allegri declared that the Brazilian would be back in training and ready for the weekend’s Milan derby with Inter.

However, the 27-year-old is now thought unlikely to feature, because whilst he did train on Friday, it was still separate from the main group and he did not go out on to the field at Milanello.

Allegri has reportedly been informed by medical staff that he cannot use the centre-back for the team’s Week 37 test.

Doubts also still remain on Luca Antonini and Urby Emanuelson’s fitness for Sunday evening, but Clarence Seedorf, Alessandro Nesta and Antonio Nocerino have all been passed fit.
