Milan are looking around for the right replacement for Stefano Pioli and have identified their primary target ahead of the summer.

The Rossoneri are expected to make a change at the end of the season after the team’s disappointing first-half of the season, which saw them fall out of the title race with Inter and crash out of the Champions League group stage.

Milan are still in the running for the Europa League, but it’s unclear if winning this would be enough to salvage Pioli’s job. The club are currently considering a long list of possible replacements ahead of the summer.

Corriere della Seria via MilanNews details how Thiago Motta is one of Milan’s top options to replace Pioli in the summer, appreciating his incredible work with Bologna this season. Other clubs interested in the 41-year-old coach include Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona.

Rumours have also linked Antonio Conte with the Rossoneri job, but for now nothing concrete has emerged on that front.
