Arturo Vidal and Alexis Sanchez are Inter‘s highest earners but are not regular starters and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport they will soon leave the Nerazzurri.

Sanchez has only played 70 minutes so far this season while his compatriot Vidal has managed 140, adding one goal across all competitions.

Sanchez and Vidal are Inter’s highest earners with a salary of €7m-a-year and €6.5m respectively.

Alexis Sanchez complains about playing time, hints at Inter exit

The former Barcelona and Arsenal striker complained about lack of playing time after Inter’s 2-1 win over Sassuolo last weekend comparing himself to an unused Ferrari.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Sanchez is likely to leave the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza as early as January.

The Nerazzurri are looking for possible suitors for the ex-Manchester United forward but could even end his contract by mutual agreement.

Vidal sees his deal with Inter expire at the end of the season and the Serie A champions won’t extend his stay at the club.

One year ago, the Chile international joined the Nerazzurri on a free transfer from Barcelona but he is not a regular starter.

Unlike Sanchez, Vidal is not expected to leave Inter in January, but this will be his last season at the club.

  1. Why these two and Kolorov were signed is beyond me. Laziness in the transfer market seems the only reasonable answer. Italian sides, who are mostly broke, need to stop spending what little they have on enormous wages for past-it players.
If this continues, Serie A will be like a souped-up version of the Turkish league.
