Inter striker Alexis Sanchez took to social media to complain about his lack of playing time against Sassuolo, suggesting he could leave the Nerazzurri.
The former Udinese, Barcelona and Manchester United striker was an unused substitute in Inter’s 2-1 win over Sassuolo yesterday.
Joaquin Correa and Lautaro Martinez started the game for the Nerazzurri up front while Edin Dzeko came off the bench and played a key role in the Serie A giants’ win at the Mapei Stadium.
The former Roma man scored the equaliser and earned a spot-kick converted by Lautaro Martinez.
Just a few minutes after the game, Sanchez posted a controversial social media post to complain about his lack of playing time.
He posted an Instagram story that shows an abandoned Ferrari covered by sand with a message in Spanish.
“Realise that you can worth a lot, but if you are in the wrong place, you are not going to shine,” the message read.
Sanchez cancelled the post after a few minutes, but it had already become viral on social media.
The 32-year-old has played just 70 minutes across all competitions so far this season, delivering one assist in four appearances.

It is a Lambo, dear Alexis ….
Are you kidding? If he plays more than a few minutes he gets injured. He’s more like a Ford (Fix Or Repair Daily).
He has nothing to offer at all, injury prone.
