Juventus have put Aaron Ramsey on the market and La Gazzetta dello Sport points out the former Arsenal man costs the Old Lady €18,000 per minute this season.

Ramsey moved to Turin on a free transfer in the summer of 2019 but has been struggling with injuries during his time at the Allianz Stadium.

The Welshman signed a €7m-a-year contract until June 203 and has played 69 games with the Bianconeri.

However, he played for the whole 90 minutes only in four matches.

La Gazzetta dello Sport highlights Juventus have paid him €5,000 per minute since 2019, while Ramsey’s cost-per minute in the current campaign raises to €18,000.

The commission fees are also pretty high as Ramsey’s representatives have cashed in €2.8m following the player’s stay in Turin.

The Bianconeri have put the former Arsenal man on the market and hope to find suitors for him in the January transfer window.

Weston McKennie is also not in Max Allegri’s plans and Juventus are looking for an offer in the region of €30m to sell the American midfielder.

  1. This really was a poor bit of business in my view. I think Juve thought they would’ve either had great performances or have sold him for a profit by this point but his injuries and lack of match sharpness have really hampered the situation. Unfortunate really because I thought he was going to be a great asset to the Juve midfield.

Couldn’t have said it any better! Spot on.

I think both Juve and Ramsey know that his time is up and that they both should cut their losses and move on for the benefit of each party involved.

  3. €9.4 billion per annum does seem like a lot, I mean considering how little he plays maybe it would be better to set up that training facility on the moon instead

  4. As a lifelong Juve supporter I always try to support the players we have. However buying British players should be a no no from now on. They never learn the language or culture. This is a major issue as it makes it so much harder to integrate with the squad, and understand the instructions from the coach and club. Ian Rush never learnt Italian. Bale never learnt Spanish. The list goes on, and by the way Rabiot the lazy French man has not learnt the language either. Better for Juve to focus on young up and coming Italians and not to waste £60 million on Vlahovic. The management has lost the plot, as they could have bought Haaland a few years back for a fraction of that price, yet they deemed him only good enough to loan out. Why on earth should we be paying that money for a striker of the same age now and keep giving out silly money to people like Ramsay, who then blame the club for his woes. He was always made of glass even from his Arsenal days. A decent player when fit but not Juve calibre as a player nor as an individual. I hope we wake up to these past mistakes and quickly.
