Attilio Tesser is targeting a second successive win since returning to Novara as Coach, when facing Siena this weekend.

The Piedmont outfit brought Tesser back in as Coach just six weeks after sacking him  and saw the tactician motivate his players to a surprise 1-0 win over Udinese last weekend.

Preparing to face 14th place Siena this Sunday afternoon, Tesser is keen to maintain the positive momentum and even return the hope of an unexpected successful battle against relegation.

“It’s not a matter of tactics, but how the team takes to the field,” began Tesser on Friday.

“If we are aggressive and focused, we can do well.

“We had talked about the run-in being 12 finals – we won the first one and now another one comes against a Siena side in excellent form.

“However, we only have to look after ourselves and then we’ll see what happens.

“With three points, a series of victories can open an unexpected outlook.”
