The Federation President also praised the positive impact the Bianconeri’s campaign has had on Italian football, and talked up Fiorentina and Napoli.

“Having got to the final in Berlin is an amazing achievement, and a positive thing for our football.

Fiorentina need a minor miracle to overcome a 3-0 first leg defeat against Sevilla, but Napoli will advance with a win against Dnipro in Ukraine.
