Lazio director Igli Tare is confident the team has now ‘assimilated Maurizio Sarri’s ideas’ and is ready to take the game to Juventus.

“The team is aware of who they are facing and what they need to do today,” Tare told DAZN.
“I think we’ll put in a great performance this evening, especially looking at the performances just before the break for international duty.
“We changed system after five years, there were six players brought in over the summer, and there will be another six next summer.
“The most important thing is that the team has assimilated Sarri’s ideas. What we saw in recent outings really does bode well.
“The key is that the team is balanced and consistent.”
The plan is to build with Sarri, as although he only arrived over the summer, the coach is already in negotiations to extend his contract.
Considering he lasted only one season at Chelsea and Juventus, what did he find at Lazio that was missing elsewhere?
“That question is designed to provoke,” smiled Tare.
“He experienced our atmosphere, and both he and the club would like to continue together.”
