Marseille defender Taye Taiwo maintains he has no fear about playing for Italian champions Milan next season.

The left-back has agreed to join the Rossoneri on a Bosman transfer after his contract in France expires.

"I'm not afraid of playing for Milan," he stated. "I was already nobody when I first arrived at Marseille, but I was able to impose myself.

"The Rossoneri are one of the most prestigious clubs in the world, like Manchester United and Chelsea.

"I'm really enthusiastic about playing alongside people like Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Alexandre Pato and Clarence Seedorf.

"I'll work hard every day. It'll then be up to the Coach to decide how and when to use me in the team."

Taiwo is one of two defenders signed by the club so far. The other is Roma's Philippe Mexes who will also arrive on a free transfer.
