Taison has hit out at Shakhtar Donetsk for ‘ending my dream’ after they priced him out of a deadline-day move to Milan.

Shakhtar refused to entertain selling Taison for less than his €30m release clause – a fee Milan were not prepared to pay, given his age and lack of top-level experience.

“Congratulations on ending my dream. Another dream broken,” wrote the 31-year-old on Instagram.
