Wojciech Szczesny declares “we have to win against both Inter and Roma” because “we’re Juventus”.

The Bianconeri secured their place in the Last 16 of the Champions League last night, and beat Napoli 1-0 at the San Paolo on Friday.

That was just the start of what is a crucial December for the champions though, with Inter to come on Saturday night and Roma on December 23.

“We’re expecting a good match against Inter,” Szczesny told JTV.

That was just the start of what is a crucial December for the champions though, with Inter to come on Saturday night and Roma on December 23.

“We’re expecting a good match against Inter,” Szczesny told JTV.

“It’ll be very difficult but we’re confident, we haven’t conceded a goal in four games and that’s important.

“With the potential we have in attack, if we don’t concede it becomes much easier to win because all it takes is a goal.

“We’ll have two big games in our own stadium and that fires us up. We have to win against both Inter and Roma, we’re Juventus.”

The goalkeeper replaced Gianluigi Buffon for last night’s win over Olympiacos in the Champions League, and he won praise for a couple of great saves.

“The first, at the end of the first half was instinctive. The second was much more difficult, I had get down low quickly and I did it at the right time. I’m satisfied.

“Who will we play in the next round? We don’t fear anyone, we’re one of the strongest teams in Europe.

“I hope to meet an English team, I’d like it if we won a big game in England.”
