On-loan Milan forward Suso says ‘I want to stay at Genoa’ and thanks fans for ‘six special and beautiful months.’

The Spaniard was on the fringes of the Rossoneri team before arriving at the Grifone in January, where he scored six goals in 19 games.

The 22-year-old said today in a post on his Instagram page that he wants to extend his stay at the Marassi for another season.

“I want to thank all the Genoa fans,” Suso wrote.

“These have been six special and beautiful months. It’s a fantastic club, with great technical staff and a beautiful city with professional teammates.

“It was a difficult situation in January, but together we’ve managed to do really well.

“I’m very grateful to these fans, who have made me feel at home from the first day. I would like to stay in Genoa for another year, but not everything depends on me.

“See you soon and THANK YOU!”
