However, they welcome Udinese to the Artemio Franchi this weekend and still have to play Milan, Inter, Lazio and Napoli before the end of the season, drawing the comparison from midfielder Brienza.
“They are chasing third place, they are fearsome,” reflected the Siena man of Week 30 opponents Udinese to the Corriere dello Sport.
“However, for us to gain survival is like winning the Champions League. So we cannot afford any missteps.
“[Antonio] Di Natale is able to change the game at any time, but we play as a team and we can try to limit him.
“At this stage of the season, the points weigh very heavily and we must pick them up. I do not know yet how many we need for survival, it is not the right time to make calculations.
“Let’s play one game at a time and try to get as many points as we can.”
