The Coach has been reassured he’ll still be at San Siro next season, although newspapers and radio stations in Italy continue to insist Walter Mazzarri has a deal in place.

Strama may well be able to fall on his feet, though, as La Repubblica claims he will be given the Italy Under-21 bench.

Current Azzurrini Coach Devis Mangia was hired a year ago when Ciro Ferrara left to take over at Sampdoria and is considering his future after June’s European Under-21 Championships.

It would be a suitable position for Stramaccioni, who was youth team Coach at Roma and Inter – winning the NextGen Cup, the youth version of the Champions League – before his promotion to the senior job.
