Tottenham Hotspur have joined Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain in chasing Roma talent Nicolò Zaniolo.

According to today’s edition of the Daily Express, new Spurs manager Jose Mourinho has put Zaniolo top of his transfer wish-list for January.

They are only the latest candidates for the Italy international, who is still only 20 years old and in his second Serie A season.

Zaniolo is a versatile attacking midfielder who can take a number of roles, as during the 9-1 win over Armenia last week, he played the first half in a trident attack and the second in a three-man midfield.

Manchester United and PSG have already been linked with the former Inter youth product, along with Juventus in Serie A.

It’s suggested Tottenham see Zaniolo as the ideal heir to Christian Eriksen, who will be a free agent at the end of the season.
