In the meantime, La Gazzetta writes Milan and Inter must publicise their plans for the new venue on September 24.

The two clubs want to knock down the current San Siro and replace it with a 60,000-seater arena, as part of a €1.2bn project that also includes a new urban district.

Milan mayor Beppe Sala will then have until October 10 to sign off the plans.
