Veteran defender Nicolas Spolli is excited to sign for Genoa after undergoing a medical. “I’m happy.”
The 34-year-old was a free agent after the end of his contract with Chievo.
He is due to sign a one-year deal this afternoon and underwent the medical this morning.
“I am happy. I haven’t yet spoken to (Coach Ivan) Juric, though,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
Sampdoria had also shown an interest in the Argentine, as Coach Marco Giampaolo worked with him at Catania.
