Corriere dello Sport claims that Roma full back Leonardo Spinazzola has received a lucrative offer from Saudi side Al-Ahli.

Clubs from Saudi Arabia, with the help of sovereign wealth fund PIF, have been incredibly active in the summer transfer window, working on deals for multiple players across European football. A number have already made the jump, with the latest being Chelsea’s Kalidou Koulibaly.

Saudi clubs have also registered their interest in a handful of figures in Serie A, including Lazio duo Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Luis Alberto, and Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport via Voce Giallorossi, Spinazzola’s agent Davide Lippi has received a lucrative offer from Al-Ahil, prompting the player to start considering his options.

The 30-year-old only has a year left on his contract with Roma and would like to stay with the club, but so far no indications have arrived regarding a new deal.

Spinazzola is not cheap for Roma, costing around €6m in amortisation and €5.5m in gross wages. As such, an offer of around €15m could be enough to close out a deal.
