“It has not been an easy week and the result of the Juventus game speaks for itself,” the Coach told Inter TV and a Press conference.

The controversy continues to rage on after that 3-2 defeat, which saw Matias Vecino sent off and Miralem Pjanic escape a second booking.

It left them four points adrift of Roma and Lazio, who share the last Champions League places.

“Clearly we are not happy, but we have to react. We are playing these final weeks of the season thinking that everything still depends on us. That means we have to win in Udine.

“I don’t want to answer any more questions on Daniele Orsato, that case is closed. We showed against Juventus that we are a very strong side, but we shouldn’t need something exceptional to prove that. We ought to prove it every time.

“We’ve got to scan what happened and use it for the following games, then at the end of the season we’ll evaluate what everyone has done and what influenced the results.

“Udinese have a much stronger team than their position in the table would suggest and we saw they beat us earlier this season. We must play with strong possession and try to push them back until we bring home the result.”

Matias Vecino and Danilo D’Ambrosio are suspended, with Roberto Gagliardini injured.

“We have the option of replacing anyone and it changes nothing in tactical terms. It’ll be either Davide Santon or Dalbert on the left. I want to say that Santon bears no responsibility for the result against Juve and I’m sorry that he has been blamed like this.”
