Napoli‘s Luciano Spalletti has been named Coach Of The Month for September after six wins in six Serie A games.
The first two games were played in August, but Spalletti and his Napoli side are enjoying a perfect start to the season in Serie A with six wins from six games.
They are the table leaders, with a two-point lead over Milan ahead of their Sunday’s Serie A clash against Fiorentina at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
The Lega Serie A named Spalletti as the Coach of the Month for September. The 62-year-old will receive the award on Sunday, October 17, at the Stadio Maradona before the game against Torino.
“The award was assigned by a jury of Directors of sports media who evaluated each coach on the basis of technical and sporting criteria and the quality of play of their teams, as well as their behaviour/fair play during matches,” an official statement from the Lega Serie A read.
“For the final calculation were considered the matchdays from 1st to 6th of Serie A TIM 2021/2022.”

“His experience and ability to always get the best from his players have allowed Napoli to express a spectacular and at the same time effective game. Six wins in the first six matches of Serie A TIM, the second-best attack with 16 goals and the best defence with two goals certify the excellent work done by the coach of the leading team.”
