Luciano Spalletti commented on the strength of a few of his individual Napoli stars ahead of the second half of the season.
The Partenopei started the 2022-23 season in electric fashion, flying to the top of the Serie A table and flexing their muscles on the international stage, easily booking their spot in the knock-out stages of the Champions League. Napoli look on track to win their first Scudetto in over three decades and currently sit eight points clear of second place Milan.
Speaking to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, Spalletti first commented on Georgian winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who surprised everyone with his incredible start to life in the Campania capital.
“We must try to bring Kvaratskhelia back to health, he always makes the difference, even when he doesn’t have the ball he must learn to impose his will.”
He then touched on who Raspadori is similar to and his thoughts on full back Bartosz Bereszyński, who has been linked with a move to the Partenopei in January.
“Giacomo is like Griezmann. I saw Bereszynski play at the World Cup, but I have seen many other players as well.”
The 21-year-old Kvaratskhelia has been on fire this season for Napoli, scoring eight goals and providing 10 assists in 17 appearances across Serie A and the Champions League.
