According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Luciano Spalletti could replace four Napoli stars in the upcoming match against Hellas Verona: Fabian Ruiz, Matteo Politano, Piotr Zielinski and Lorenzo Insigne.

The Partenoepei will be looking to bounce back after a 1-0 loss against Milan last weekend. They are now three points off the Rossoneri at the top of the table and Spalletti is considering changing his starting XI in Sunday’s away clash at Hellas Verona. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, four regular starters could lose their spot at the Stadio Bentegodi.

Fabian Ruiz will likely start on the bench and be replaced by André Zambo Anguissa. The Spaniard is not fully fit, so he is expected to rest in Verona. The other changes considered by Spalletti are motivated by the poor form of other three players.

Zielinski and Politano seemed tired against Milan and Spalletti expects more goals from them, especially from the right winger. With Hirving Lozano back to action, Politano may be benched against Verona, while Dries Mertens could replace Zielinski, also to ‘give a signal’ to the team, showing that they must continue having an offensive mentality despite a challenging moment in the season.

Lorenzo Insignehas had highs and lows in the last two games. Eljif Elmas is a possible replacement for the Italy international who will move to Toronto FC in the summer.
