Stefano Sorrentino has pledged his future to Chievo amid speculation that he might leave the club in the January transfer window.

The 31-year-old was said to have been unsettled after not getting a big move in the summer following an excellent season in Verona.

Juventus were among the clubs interested in signing him, but opted for Marco Storari when Chievo refused to lower their asking price.

Speaking to Tutto Mercato Web, Sorrentino said: "I stayed at Chievo and now I am only thinking about doing well with this shirt.
