According to Sky Sports, Milan striker Divock Origi is expected to return to the UK this afternoon with Nottingham Forest and Burnley interested in signing him.

The Belgian forward is not part of Stefano Pioli’s plans at San Siro and was not included in Milan’s squad list for tonight’s Serie A game against Roma.

The Rossoneri have been looking for a new club for the Belgian striker for the whole summer and the ex-Liverpool forward is now close to leaving the Serie A giants.

According to Sky Sports UK, the striker’s representatives have held talks with both Nottingham Forest and Burnley.

Both Premier League sides are negotiating over a loan deal until the end of the season, although there are other clubs interested, including Fulham.

The summer transfer window ends at 19:00 BST in Italy and 23:00 BST in the UK, but clubs can still sell players after the deadline, so there’s still time to finalise Origi’s transfer today.
