Inter defender Milan Skriniar is reportedly a January target for Bayern Munich.

According to Tuttosport, Bayern’s board believes an overhaul is needed after a run of four games without a win, which has left them sixth in the Bundesliga.

Consequently, their attentions would have been taken to Skriniar, who has helped Inter to six straight wins and has also been linked with the likes of Barcelona and Manchester City.

Consequently, their attentions would have been taken to Skriniar, who has helped Inter to six straight wins and has also been linked with the likes of Barcelona and Manchester City.

However, the newspaper warns the Nerazzurri value him at ‘over €80m’ – in the same region as the world’s most expensive stopper Virgil van Dijk.

Talks over a new contract for Skriniar are under way, but while Tuttosport reports the Beneamata have come in at €2.5m a season, the Slovak would be holding out for €1m more.
