Milan Skriniar’s agent assures the defender is “happy with Inter”, but “these days everyone is for sale”.

The centre-back has been in impressive form for the Nerazzurri this season, and while they want to hang on to him he’s been linked with a host of European clubs.

“As far as summer is concerned, I can’t tell yet what will happen next,” Karol Csonto explained to Sport in his native Slovakia.

The centre-back has been in impressive form for the Nerazzurri this season, and while they want to hang on to him he’s been linked with a host of European clubs.

“As far as summer is concerned, I can’t tell yet what will happen next,” Karol Csonto explained to Sport in his native Slovakia.

“We have a four-year contract but there’s interest in him from all over the world. It’s still a question of money.

“If Inter are considering selling him then it’ll only be for €70m or above. The player is happy with Inter though, and won’t push anyone if a really top offer does arrive.

“We’ll see how the last match goes, but everything is possible in football. The situation is constantly changing and we’re ready for every eventuality.

“A player’s price depends on how well he plays and how long his contract is. As I mentioned before, we currently have a four-year contract.

“Of course, the situation could change if Inter don’t make the Champions League. It’ll also depend on Inter’s financial situation, which I don’t know about.

“It also comes down to which players they have to sell: whether that’s [Ivan] Perišič, [Mauro] Icardi, Škriniar or three other players.

“It also depends on whether they take up their option for Rafinha, which is €35m, or Joao Cancelo which is €25m. There are so many factors which can have an effect.

“It’ll depend on what budget the top clubs have for their position if they want to get their man. Everyone’s for sale these days, it’s just a question of money. Whether a player is worth €50m or €80m I don’t know right now.

“All the top five clubs in the world want him, but paying €70m isn’t nothing. Liverpool did it for the Dutchman, Virgil van Dijk, but that was a rare case.

“So we’ll see.”
