However, the Old Lady’s hopes of landing Schalke 04 trequartista Draxler seem to be fading, with the German club reported to be sticking rigidly to their €30m valuation.

German outlet Bild has reported that Schalke are set to turn down a new Bianconeri offer of €15m plus another €15m of bonuses.

The Bianconeri could now turn to other targets, with La Stampa suggesting they have a €20m bid for Chelsea’s Ramires ready, although according to Tuttosport Blues boss Jose Mourinho won’t sell and instead Juve could turn to Sampdoria’s Roberto Soriano.
